Mattel sent us these photos of their upcoming wave of the Movie Masters action figures based on The Dark Knight. The new batch of figures include Harvey Dent D.A., Two-Face, Bank Robber Joker and Batman sporting the Sonar Vision as seen in the final scenes of the hit movie.

Everyone who’s into the DC Animated Universe must know Cason Pilliod (a.k.a. Casimir). He’s the guy who makes his own toys and action figures based on Bruce Timm’s art and style. Well, I’ve recently been the fortunate recipient of one of his custom Bane figures. I won’t go into the details of how some series of events took place leading to my owning such a beautiful piece. I’m just here to show off :-)

So I couldn’t resist the juvenile urge. Following my write-up yesterday on the Daniel Craig 1/6 kit from Loading Toys, I just had to take a photo of this simple kit-bash.

Loading Toys is a fairly new player in the 1/6 action figure arena. They recently released a 1/6 kit called Dangerous Man featuring a head sculpt with actor Daniel Craig’s likeness. It’s odd, though, that the words “Dangerous Man” is nowhere seen on the package. But it doesn’t really matter – they could have called this “Lover Boy” or “Macho Man” and I still would have bought it :-)

I recently acquired this 1/6 scale figure of US President Elect Barack Obama (made by DiD Corporation) through the help of my friend Nelson Ang. Admittedly, it was an impulse buy at the time. But I figured that since Mr. Oabama was making history, this was an expense I could easily justify to the missus.
