In one of the few chances I had for a bit of toy hunting during our brief family vacation, I stumbled upon a nondescript shop in Yau Ma Tei that had the most wonderful assortment of loose toys for sale. One of which was this still unreleased Movie Masters Bruce Wayne in his spelunking costume (as depicted in the movie Batman Begins).

Hot Toys made an announcement recently saying that loyal fans can expect a bonus gift that will come with one their most anticipated figures – The Godfather, Don Vito Corleone. Fans have since come up with various conjectures and guesses. But now there’s no further need to speculate as the bonus item is currently on display at Toy Hunters, Hot Toys’ official retail outlet in Hong Kong (see photos below)

I don’t have much to report about finding the mother lode of JLU figures in Hong Kong. But I did find a shop selling loose JLU figures – some of which were still unreleased like Ultranman and Mary Marvel.

A couple of days ago, I came across this huge ad that says “Clark Kent Kent wears :Chocoolate”. I suppose the huge photo of the Clark Kent figure was difficult for any toy collector to miss.

After a couple of weeks of undergoing renovations, Toy Hunters (Hot Toys’ official retail outlet in Hong Kong) re-opens with a big bang. On display were their signature high-quality 1/6 scale figures (current and forthcoming) and this 1:1 statue. I will try to post more photos upon my return to Manila. …
