Anyone and everyone who dwells in the realm of collecting action figures has got to know ActionFigureInsider.com (AFi). But what is probably not known to some is that the site which many of us have made our daily stopover for our action figure fix was developed some 4 years ago by two guys named Daniel Pickett (a.k.a. Julius Marx) and Jason Geyer (a.k.a. ToyOtter) – 2 guys I’ve been privileged to call my friends.

Today, I’m posting the first of a 3-part interview with the guys behind ActionFigureInsider.com. This first installment focuses on the two as toy collectors like the rest of us.

I’ve been a fan of Mythbusters since episode 1. I’m further delighted by the fact that even my kids (who are in their teens) love watching every episode, including reruns. So when this video of Adam Savage giving a talk was posted on their Facebook page, I naturally had to watch it.

You might be wondering why I’m posting the video here on a site about action figures. Seems odd and out of place. Well, there are a few good reasons…

Hot Toys just released their latest prototype photos of their upcoming Michael Jackson Mini Cosbaby set.

Each Cosbaby stands 3 inches/ 7 cm tall, featuring Michael Jackson in baby form. Each unique design is based on his appearance in one of his popular music videos and live performances.

New York- Jamal Woolard, star of NOTORIOUS, appears on BET’s popular show The Deal on January 16th to promote the new film. He’ll be sharing The Deal’s set with one of Mezco’s Notorious B.I.G. action figures. A hit with fans of both hip hop as well as the Urban Vinyl movement, the action figure has become somewhat of a staple of set décor. Mezco’s B.I.G. has appeared on MTV programs and bumpers, Space, Console Creatures, several BET programs and news reports, and a myriad of other tv shows, as well as dozens of print magazines and thousands of websites.

Hot Toys BATMAN Is Mine – Finally!

Especially at this point when the Hot Toys Batman (original costume) has been circulating in the market for about a couple of months already.
