If you're not reading the 5th volume of Invincible Iron Man you're missing out on great art and a great story

The 4th volume which introduced the Extremis armor has been changed to Iron Man director of shield and reached its peak when the Mandarin graftd the ten rings of power to his spine and recruited the scientist/lover of tony stark who developed the extremis formul in a mad plot to use the extremis as a WMD. This was also the much ignored plot-series where Happy Hogan died (yes staple of Ironman comics, Happy is dead)

the 5th volume starts a new chapter with introductio of the son of Obadiah Stane and the development of Ironman version 2.0.

In the second issue of the comic one if the big surprises besides the cliffhanger ending is the addition of Manila Phils to the story along with a cameo of new "phil heroes" one of which is Goddess that Thor pays tribute to

You have to pick up the issue to believe it...

BTW the covers of the 5th volume also includes covers based on high resolution stills from the movie
