Starting this thread
Where do you think KG should end up?
Should they break up the SUNs?
and which rookie will make the most impact?

With regards to the rookies, Oden was the 1st pick, but I'm sure Durant won't be far from the rankings. Oden should fill up the place Zach Randolph had left behind, but those are big shoes to fill..

also note that houston has a lot of guards Mike James, Rafer Alston, luther head (combo guard) and Las Vegas Summer League standout Aaron Brooks.
with his age and injury problems, I doubt if he can grab the starting spot, as well as the back-up.. he'll be a 3rd stringer or a bench rider..

AK47 doesn't want to play with the jazz anymore..
he's willing to give up big bucks just to play in his own country..
that's the real "love for the game"

Marion is a selfish mess, what he's sick of Nash ooping it to him every night? He wants to go from a championship-caliber team so he can be 'the man' and a crappy one. Y'know, cause Marion gotta "take care of myself".

The Los Angeles Lakers have acquired forward-center Pau Gasol from the Memphis Grizzlies for center Kwame Brown, guard Javaris Crittenton and a series of draft picks between the two teams, The Los Angeles Times has learned.
Gasol, 27, is averaging 18.9 points and 8.8 rebounds this season for the Grizzlies. He has expressed discontent in the past year with the Grizzlies (13-33) who have not been in playoffs since 2006 and have never won a playoff game since he was drafted in 2001.
He was the NBA's rookie of the year in 2001-02 and made the All-Star team in 2006. Gasol, 7 feet and 260 pounds, has three more years and an estimated $49 million on his contract. Brown's $9.1-million conract expires after this season and Crittenton is a rookie.

Good acquisition, I think, for the Lakers.
They get an All-star caliber player for a Lottery Bust in Kwame, and some scrap players.
Also, it'll be quite interesting when Bynum goes back into the lineup:
PG - Fish
SG - Black Mamba
SF - Pau Gasol
PF - Lamar Odom (actually, Gasol's & Odom's positions are interchangeable)
C - Andrew Bynum
Lakers should see some playoff depth.
