Nowitzki becomes the first MVP in 25 years not to win a single playoff series; it last happened to Houston's Moses Malone in 1981-82. That failure is likely to be remembered more than the fact he's the first European honoree, and the first not to have attended a U.S. high school or college.

Nowitzki's victory also ends the two-year reign of his good friend and former teammate Steve Nash of Phoenix. After blossoming into star players together in Dallas, one of them has been the MVP all three seasons since they've been separated.

Congrats to Dirk :)

Warriors are very fun to watch. I would be great if Suns and Warriors fight it out on the Western Conference Finals, do we see 130-145 pts a game? :)

You're right about that... But my only deduction out of it is that the Pistons might just want to win the series in their turf. Not that I don't trust the Bulls (man, they're MY TEAM this season!), but you know how it is...

How I wish they make history and sweep the remaining 3 games and bring home the prize! GO BULLS!!!

With Greg Oden insight on Draft Day (thanks to New York), the Bulls will go further next season.

Jazz won on Warriors Home Court. 3-1... go Jazz.
Nasty Foul by J Rich on Okur, frustration i guess... no need for that one a game that's already won.

Aww, so much for the run-and-gun game of the Warriors. Too bad they lost.

It's going to be a crucial game 5 for the Suns and Spurs, without Stoudemire and Horry..

I have faith in them! They can do the impossible of sweeping the rest of the series... The momentum is theirs! I hope they don't falter!

Spurs- Suns 3-2...a very unfair decision by Comissioner Stern, suspending Amare and Diaw :x

Hope they bounce back game 6 and finish the series at home on game 7

Nets still alive, winning Game 5 at Cleveland
