Incoming in August for 10,000 Yen.















From what I've seen, this line does have diecast in it, just not sure if that applies to the bust as well. The first release was the Tester 1. Next release after this will be Mazinger and the Pilder. At the price of 10,000 Yen and diecast, I don't expect this to be big.





Next up will be Maz and Pileder. There also seems to be an action gimmick in the c0ckpit just like in the cartoons.

It seems the Brain Condor will be 10CM (3.97") big, not including the size of the bust and will be sold separately? The preorder price for the Condor is $71. Hopefully that means that the whole shebang will cost 10,000 Yen.

I never owned any of the Evolution figures, but I think they're roughly 7 inches right? So I guess the speculation about the Pileder and Condor being roughly Hotwheels sized were correct... sigh...

After the Great MAzinger and Mazinger Z Busts, Evolution Toys' next release will be Grendizer bust!























Lights up too




Unlike the previous busts where the miniships were diecast,, this time it will be horns that's metal.





The set will also come with a mini flight stand for the previous ships.











Lastly, the company is also releasing a huge rotocast (hollow) Great Mazinger figure that's in scale with the Brain Condor (Brain Condor not included). It doesn't have articulation but it's still cool! Reminds us of the old Jumbo Machinders.

Some more info, looks like the villians are 17-18 CM scaled. Roughly 6.5-7 inches tall. Not bad.

Reading the description, looks like these guys will be Anime Export exclusives and limited to 300 piece each?!?!?




Edit : Kingdan was released Feb 2015 while Abdra was released in May. So I guess this is old news. Metal content is only limited to the joints but according to the folks at Robotjapan, the figures are heavier than Gx01r Mazinger so it's still pretty good.
