Legends Lost?
The Dirt on Marvel Legends
Back in 2002, Toy Biz flipped the script on what it meant to be a comic book-based action figure with the launch of the highly articulated Marvel Legends line. After a move from Toy Biz to Hasbro in 2007, and the announcement of the smaller scale Marvel Universe line, fans started wondering what the fate of the Legends line would be.
Well, Toyfare got to the bottom of things by asking Jerry Jivoin during our Marvel Legends interview. "There are no current plans (for any new build-a-figure waves) in 2009," he said.
But fear not! That does not spell doom for Marvel Legends collectors, as plans for 2-packs are still in the works. "It's a safe bet that you'll see some type of multi-figure offering," Jivoin relayed.
Jivoin went on to list Winter Soldier, Darkhawk, and Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu as contenders for spots in the future "multi-figure offerings." Unfortunately, for now, this means you won't be getting your Legends scale Hawkeye-as-Goliath build-a-figure, but, let's be honest, his costume's pretty creepy anyway.

nick,
black bolt looks different from the one presented at SDCC. It looks like a different sculpt especially the head and face.

Found this at a store in Goldcrest....
Skrull as Elektra
and a transparent super skrull (in St Francis Square) which I repainted to resemble the original release:

Ken,
Crossbones is worth it though.
He looks more like the BAF compared to Ares.

A little black outline and that Magneto "defect" would look good on the open mouth version.
Just a thought

Well, according to an alleged post by Jesse Falcon over at Fwoosh.net. Marvel Legends 6" is still alive and well..

although no real info of characters to be released was given ("stay tuned for NYCC Toyfair" in Feb I guess)

Any word on wave 4? How come these still have not been released to the general public? Will this be an exclusive or will it be canceled?
