For those who are curious as how to tell which POC Hisstank you might be getting (Brown or Black), here's a sure way.

Look for the impression stamp on the box (reviewer highlighted the numbers blue to make them more visible).


Anything with the stamp number 2382 and up

eg.
2383
2384
2385 and up

should be the black version POC Hiss Tank, supposedly.



The Brown version is the first version released, Hasbro later released a black version but used the same box as the brown, as a result, there's some confusion as to tell which is which. Hopefully this will help folks out.

Gijoe Renegades going on hiatus after season 1

Depending on the sucess of Gijoe Movie 2 (meaning that if it becomes a hit) maybe we'll get a new animated series based on that and that would mean Renegades would be cancelled?

I think this might be the biggest army build I've ever seen in a single collection (granted I'm sure there are others out there with even bigger armies but so far I have yet to see pics, most of them are just text lists).

I love his style, especially using the extreme weather conditions pack Televipers to make the arctic for the Cobra "uniques". And using the 2 pack Cobra Commander (with Tripwire) to army build Blue Crimson Guards. Nice.

-Lifeline, Sci-fi, Airtight all come with removable helmets.

-Renegades Cobra Commander to have 2 interchangable heads

-Croc Master to have Python Patrol variant

-Data Viper is meant to be "next generation" Techno Viper

-Zombie Viper looks to be from a POC storyline, Cobra Commander now has something called Compound Z

-new POC Vamp is now Green similar to classic colors

-Skystriker is confirmed one-seater

-Unrevealed 7 pack in the works, to be released before year end

-No foreseable price increase in Joes. (whew)

More "I wish this came out" items including TF-Gijoe Crossovers Omega Supereme, Rotf Legends scale Ravage, Plus ROC USS Flagg (guess this confirms the old wikipedia post last year that later got edited), a retooled Joe PIT HQ under Cobra (looks way better), reissued Joe Mauler Tank under Cobra, and a Retooled HISS Tank III. All of these are now canceled.

There seems to be a running change to the POC Cobra Viper that's coming up in the new waves.

The gauntlets are now red instead of blue, making the newer ones more 25th accurate. The cannon has also been replaced with 3 other machine guns and the packaging art "backdrop" has also been changed.



Also there's supposed to be a change with the Iron Grenadier as well (no camoflauge?) but I can't seem to spot any difference.
