I suppose it's not that much different from when we see US exclusives in Hong Kong's TRU Smile

BTW, try emailing Stephen (Protoform-S) - I believe his company assigned him to SG recently.

boys, i need your honest opinion on the TRU exclusive Spiderman and his Amazing friends 3-pack.

how's the sculpt on these figs? are they just re-used pieces of other figs? i'm not a fan of the hyper-muscular marvel legend-esque styling but if the sculpt comes anywhere close the the 80's animation style then i just might consider picking the set up tomorrow.

from one serious collector to another, your input would be much appreciated. cheers.

Hey Sib!

Im not so sure I understand what exactly you're looking for but the're definitely not cartooney-looking. But because it's Firestar, hey! I got the pack!

Iceman's head is a different sculpt from the Xmen Origins version and it's actually all smiley.....but kinda big for the body...

Basically, if you're looking for "animated" style figs then they ain't it. They're exactly what you said they are: "Marvel Legendesque(?)".... Laughing

Hope that helps....

that's what i was thinking, rengie. if the sculpt was less detailed and more cartooney then i would've totally be on this thing.

thanks again.
