Hot Toys Batpod to be Available Before Christmas

Hot Toys has announced via their e-newsletter that the highly anticipated 1/6 scale Batpod will be released before Christmas. The following text is taken verbatim from said newsletter:

Bat-pod will arrive before Christmas!

We know that the Batman collectors can’t wait to get our next release from The Dark Knight series – 1/6th scale Bat-pod collectible! Well, we’re happy to say that you won’t have to wait much longer, as this item is expected to arrive at our HK warehouse before the Christmas! There’s been a growing trend now where the hottest toys for Christmas are no longer reserved for the wee minds and bodies, but for adults of all ages as well, thanks to the age of Action Heroes.

A few years back I was introduced to the movie Nightmare Before Christmas, and lo and behold, Nightmare Before Christmas Toys are destined to be better sellers this year than Elmo Live!

I kid you not.

Can’t wait to watch the latest installment of Batman featuring the late Heath Ledger, and I guess that’s where the fascination is, watching someone post-humously in action…and I have no doubt the Batman action figures have the manufacturers licking their chops in anticipation of all the sales they aim to make this year and the better part of next year as well.
