I don’t have much to report about finding the mother lode of JLU figures in Hong Kong. But I did find a shop selling loose JLU figures – some of which were still unreleased like Ultranman and Mary Marvel.

The same shop also had Lightning Lad (from the LOSH set) and Scarecrow (from the Gotham City Criminals set) – both loose figures.
I have to admit, I was greatly tempted to plop some money and purchase these. But knowing that I’m not getting the complete set made me hold back and passed on the opportunity. Hindsight, I should have gotten Ultraman at least.
I did, however, purchase these (all at bargain prices)…
I got this Cheetah, The Shade and Lex Luthor (in prison garb) 3-pack at about 40% cheaper than the local retail price.
I never bought the Galatea 3-pack because I knew one day I’d get a loose one for cheap :-) And I also got a Red Tornado in show-accurate colors.
