I recently picked up a Medicom RAH Dr. Henry Jones Sr. I was at first reluctant to get this piece because I knew Medicom to make undersized 1/6 scale figures. That would mean I couldn’t possibly pose him alongside my Sideshow Indiana Jones figure. But since it is yet undetermined whether or not Sideshow would ever get around to making their version of Henry Sr., I bit the bullet and purchased this.
Surprisingly, posing Medicom’s Henry Sr. beside Sideshow’s Indy didn’t look bad at all. While Henry Sr. is visibly smaller in build compare to Indy, the size disparity doesn’t make it impossible for the 2 figures to go together.
Medicom did a good job sculpting Sean Connery‘s likeness. Check out these close-up shots.

The figure looks great by itself. But for the nit-picky, the body is obviously smaller compared to other 1/6 scale figures. I may one day try and transplant Henry onto a larger body just to see if that makes an improvement.
The clothes are well made (at least on the one I got). The tailoring does not appear to have been haphazardly done.
Medicom didn’t forget to include Henry’s hat, leather bag and umbrella. My only complaint is that they didn’t bother trying to provide their customers with working accessories. Both bag and umbrella are sculpted – so no functionality on either. It would have been nice to have them openable at the very least considering the price tags on Medicom products.
The hat is also modled plastic. Again, forgivable but could have been much better if Medicom chose to use fabric.
Overall, not too disappointing.
