Thanks, that was really useful. I just went down to Mongkok to do some toy browsing, and stopped by both CTMA center and Sino center. From what I saw, CTMA center is more focused on action figures and robot figures, while Sino center seems more focused on games and cuter Hello Kitty-esque stuff.

I was particularly impressed by Hot Toys and Superman Toys at CTMA and Animate across the street. These stores were larger and more well-established than the usual glass boothes most of these shops are, and had some really huge, jaw-dropping display cases full of figures.

I also found a great place called “In’s Point” that’s a couple blocks east of Sino center along Nathan road (just past Yau Mai Tei subway exit A2). It has a TON of shops for action figures and robots, and it’s a larger, more open space than CTMA center. It seems to have the best prices for most stuff, too, and has the added benefit of being like only 100 feet from the subway exit. Definitely worth checking out.
