Mattel’s promise to release a variant version each of Superman and Supergirl under the DCSH action figure line has been fulfilled. Various sources have already confirmed sightings of these 2 figures in different parts of the U.S.

The variant Superman is based on the same sculpt as was released in DCSH series 2 with the exception of the “S” logo having a black background (instead of the traditional yellow). This particular logo was donned by Superman in his appearance in DC Comic’s Our Worlds at War story line.

The variant Supergirl, aslo based on the same sculpt as the DCSH series 2 figure, sports a black-themed costume.
