It’s been buzzing on the web the past couple of days that famed director/producer J.J. Abrams is being eyed to direct the next installment of the Star Wars movie. Well a press release by The Walt Disney Co. on Friday evening confirmed that news. The press release also added that screenwriters Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back) and Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes) will be consulting on the project.
