Spawn Series 30: The Adventures Of Spawn

Posted by: vader at 12:10 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2006

Collectors have plenty to look forward to this December. We earlier mentioned NECA’s Player Select line – the next on our list is McFarlane’s Spawn Series 30. This series differs greatly from earlier Spawn releases because characters sport a “cartoon-ized” look and feel to them.

McFarlane Toys has imagined Spawn in a whole new way — in the tradition of the great Saturday morning cartoons! Get ready to see Spawn, his allies and his enemies as you’ve never seen them before. Spawn Series 30 includes:

  • Spawn X
  • The Redeemer
  • Omega Spawn
  • Overtkill The Destroyer
  • Codename: Cy-Gor
  • Tiffany The Amazon
  • Lord Mammon – Collectors Club Exclusive

SPAWN X
A hero born, former soldier Al Simmons was granted amazing powers when he became forever connected to the Necro Stone, one of the 13 Relics of Ruin. Able to call upon the power of a unique and very powerful living costume, Al protects the universe as the avenger of innocence, Spawn X. Figure includes two interchangable heads (one masked and one unmasked), four interchangable hands (two closed, two open), two guns and a round base.

THE REDEEMER
An immortal warrior who has fought alonside the Forces of Light since before recorded time, the Redeemer has chosen to leave his post as a member of the Council of Light and join Spawn X’s crusade — placing himself between Mankind and the blind hatred shared by his former people and the Forces of Darkness. Figure includes two interchangables heads (one with a helmet and one without), sword and round base.

OMEGA SPAWN
A machine from the future that was given life by one of the 13 Relics of Ruin, Omega Spawn traveled back through time to aid Al Simmons in his noble cause. Omega Spawn also commands the Omega Squadron, a collection of robots he has created in his own image. Figure includes four interchangable forearms (two with fists, two with plasma cannons) and a round base.

OVERTKILL THE DESTROYER
Part human. Part robot. Overtkill is the world’s most notorious arms dealer and his association with Mammon and the Forces of Darkness goes back many years. A one-time golden boy of the United States military machine, Overtkill gained his first artificial “upgrade” as part of a clandestine government project titled “CODENAME.” Figure includes four interchangable hands (two fists, one battle axe, one chainsaw) and a round base.

CODENAME: CY-GOR
A cybernetically-enhanced gorilla with a mental capacity to rival Albert Einstein, Codename: Cy-Gor was a U.S. military experiment gone wrong. A beast removed from its natural station in life and turned into a living, thinking weapon, Cy-Gor went berserk during a field training exercise and escaped from the confines of the hidden lab which housed him (and others like him) — but not before killing 47 soldiers, scientists and civilians. Figure includes round base.

TIFFANY THE AMAZON
A long time and legendary warrior on the side of Good, Tiffany has recently chosen to offer her allegiance to Mammon. Her deceit not yet known to her former friends and allies in the Council of Light, the time drawn near when her sword will announce her newfound intentions. Figure includes sword and round base.

LORD MAMMON – Collectors Club Exclusive
He is the last surviving member of the Forces of Darkness. Dark Lord Mammon is a trickster demon, unmatched when it comes to deception and the power of persuasion. Long overlooked among his dastardly peers, he now stands on the cusp of becoming an even bigger threat than any who came before him. This figure stands 7 inches tall and comes with a custom round base. Articulated at the neck, elbows and wrists. Comes with alternate demon head and hands, and 2 monster minions each standing 2 inches, both articulated at shoulders.
